Eric Tsai

Eric is a guitarist/composer who currently studies Jazz Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Eric has performed all around venues in Sydney, such as Butchers Brew and Lazybones Lounge, and larger festivals such as SMASH and Manly Jazz Festival.

Born in Taiwan and moved to Australia when he was 12, Eric started learning the piano when he was 5 years old. He then went on to learn the violin before finally settling on the guitar in high school as his main instrument. Eric’s unique voice originates from the experience he gained from different cultural and musical backgrounds, such as pop, hip-hop, bossa nova, classical, and of course anime music.
