Somnus Quintet (violin 1, violin 2, viola, cello and piano) is a Sydney-based chamber group consisting of 5 friends who share a love for music from various cultures. After a very stressful and joyless year in 2020, we would like to provide an oasis for the community to relax and enjoy a breath of repertoire from film music to new Australian music.

Somnus Quintet Presents: REVIVAL will feature music from Ghibli films, anime and works from upcoming Australian composers, Christine Pan and Aija Draguns. Hosted in the beautiful and cosy venue of Woodburn Creatives, we hope to bring you original renditions of some of our favourite tunes from Spirited Away, My Neighbour Totoro, Howl’s Moving Castle , Death Parade and more!
